  • What are some ways for the students to be able to recall the lesson?
    • Some ways would be that in the future
  • How would the students be able to retain the information?
    • Repetition within the classroom

Understand:

  • How would the content of the lesson, with the use of technology, connect with the student?
    • Using technology will let the students feel comfortable with what they will be doing with in lessons.
  • What would the importance of technology in a classroom do?
    • Its importance is that it makes it easier for the students to learn by being more interactive with the lesson by connecting with hands on, visually, and auditory learners.

Apply:

  • What would the students use technology for?
    • It becomes easier for the student to complete the assignment and to look up information one the subject.
  • Where would the students implant their knowledge?
    • The students can become more organized with assignments and will be able to organize information that they have gathered better.

Analyze:

  • How could technology in classrooms help the students?
    • Technology could help the students compare and contrast information or determine if it could be reliable.
  • What are the benefits of the student’s work being digital?
    • This lets the students experiment with their work without any mistakes such as pen marks, scribbles, or having to restart on a new paper.

Evaluate:

  • What are the benefits of having a connected source?
    • The students are capable of critiquing each other’s work for the better and support each other to be better.
  • What could be the result of having more technology within the classroom?
    • This can make it easier for the teacher to grade and will also give the teacher less to print out materials.

Create:

  • How will the students use these tools effectively?
    • Once the students know how to use the technology effectively, they are able to recall and recreate what they know. Example; PowerPoint.
  • How does technology help students?
    • It allows the students to become creative in projects and also makes projects more convenient for the students and the teacher.

Repetition is key. It allows for the gradual ingraining of procedures and information. Technology can present the initial information in novel and more accessible ways. It also provides different means to practice recalling it- for example, a kahoot questionnaire, video, etc. Technology also allows for easy integration of supporting material to the lesson- for example: my art history teacher in High School showed us a virtual tour of the pyramids during the Egyptian unit.
