I loved how you addressed what the teacher should have further assessed of the student, and not to have her pull Frank in on the 2nd or third day. I also liked how you said it was unnecessary for them to take forever in deciding what is best for Mary. You need to be open-minded and think of all the other subjects, not just what they excel in. they need to be a regular child, but also be challenged, so they aren't bored all the time. I am working on a research project for the next couple years and I love how you mentioned the relationship between the teacher and home so they know what is best for the student.

I think you made a very valid point about skipping over her other subjects. Just because she is gifted in math, doesn't necessarily mean she's going to be gifted in her other subjects. I also agree that the movie should've spent more time with Mary in school, and not the over-dramatics of the courtroom scenes.
